Prior to the first meeting, we ask that you complete and return our client questionnaire. Having this information ready provides a roadmap for us to begin designing solutions for your unique circumstances.
At the first meeting, you will meet with Simone Devenny to discuss your goals and wishes for your estate. During this time, she will explain the basics of estate planning and estate taxes so that you fully understand how the process works and what you will accomplish. At the end of this meeting, a flat fee will be quoted and you will set an appointment for the execution of your estate plan. We require a 50% deposit at the close of this meeting before work begins.
Within four to six weeks, you will return to the office to review and sign (if acceptable) your estate planning documents. Simone will explain each provision of the plan in detail and answer any questions you may have. In addition, the funding of the plan will begin with the transfer of the deed to your primary residence into the trust. The balance of the fee will be payable at the completion of the signing meeting.
